J-CAST has been on a bit of a hiatus due to my unsavory work situation. That situation is over and now I can return to doing things matter to me! Thank you so much for all of your lovely comments and messages and emails; they really keep me motivated to do more. Time has flown by since the last episode and I've meant to do one for so long, but it has been so inexplicably crazy that I have just not had the time.
Moving on, the original episode 22 was about 15 songs long. I had to cut it down but there has been so much good music released this summer. I tried to sample a good representation of most of the new music I've been listening too. Viored is definitely a band to watch! Their new single, Cold Ruby, is great as well, so try and check them out! Metis Gretel is an awesome old school style visual kei band that is signed to Kamijo's Sherow Artist Society label and they are another up and coming band to watch.
Episode 23 was some more summery music, but from some of my more prominently favorite acts. I have been listening to the new D single constantly (I love the sound of a shamisen). I really enjoy just letting SID play in the background while I'm around the house or have been driving for a while. Miyavi...can't go wrong with some good ol' meev. RENTRER EN SOI's new album is fantastic. I will be reviewing that soon. BUY IT. I have loved Juka and Kaya's voices since they were in Moi dix Mois and Schwarz Stein respectively. I am excited to see how Juka evolves as an artist and starts to really settle into his niche. Kaya has become, perhaps, my favorite voice. His music is top quality, is released at a fresh pace, and consistently fantastic.
Please keep your comments, emails, messages, and all that wonderful stuff coming!

Hey Minagoroshi!!!
I just wanna say I love your podcast! I'm kind of new to the world of j-rock, so thanks for introducing me to some awesome new artists! I have a quick question about the Kaya track you played in ep. 19 (which I LOVE!), do you have the name of it in romaji?(I don't speak Japanese) And do you know where I could buy the single it's on? And request: could you please play some X Japan? a little "Crucify My Love" maybe? Anything by them really! Thanks again for the great podcasts! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the new ones!
